Bike Fit? Why?
A bike fit costs money! Why not spend that money on more "go-fast" carbon upgrades?
Even thousands of dollars in lightweight upgrades cannot compensate for a poor fit between you and your bike.
Have you ever tried running or even walking in a pair of shoes that were too big or too small for you? You might get a job with the circus, but it can be a real challenge just to walk across the room! ...Even if those shoes are hand-crafted from Italy.
Benefits of a bike that fits well:
Improves:
- Safety
- Stability
- Comfort
- Efficiency
- Power and performance
- Enjoyment
Reduces:
- Discomfort
- Pain
- Overuse injuries
Riding a bike that doesn’t fit may not feel as uncomfortable or awkward as a pair of shoes that are too small or big. (But when I try riding my nephew’s tricycle, it’s pretty awkward!)
While comfort – and your cool, suave image – are important when you ride, safety is critical. Stability and handling are not luxuries on a bicycle. They are necessities!
Finally, your efficiency and your performance are also affected by how well you and your bike function as a single unit. We are talking speed and endurance here!
Maximize The Benefits:
The knowledge you can bring to the fit studio:

How do I know when my bike and I fit well together?
